WELCOME TO THE NURSE PRACTITIONERS ASSOCIATION OF ALBERTA
The NPAA is the special interest group under CARNA for Nurse Practitioners. We are also a provincial affiliate of the Canadian Association of Advanced Practice Nurses (CAAPN). Our Mission - Developing and advocating for an accessible, efficient, and effective health care system that meets the health care needs of Albertans and support the full scope Nurse Practitioner practice in a manner that is evidence based, flexible, and integrated.
The Calgary Rural Primary Care Network and the Highland Primary Care Network are holding an NP round table on June 28th in South Calgary. The event will discuss NP practice in primary care. these PCNs are exploring the issue of NP integration and implementation and would like to hear your vision, ideas, and knowledge regarding NP practice and practice issues.
All NPs are invited to participate.
